My name is Paul and I am the founder of GP Campers. We are a family run business in the heart of Somerset with great links to Wells and Weston-super-mare. We understand the importance of having a family friendly campervan and having been a frequent camper since an early age and having driven and camped all over Europe (admittedly not in a camper) I have always loved the idea of being outdoors, camping under the stars and the thought of owning a camper van. 

I was in my twenties when i drove my first camper. It was a 1973 two tone bay window painted in Kingfisher Blue with a white top, it belonged to a very close friend. It was lowered had 18inch wheels and was great fun to drive. 

I had my first job working with campers in my early thirties with a local camper conversion company and the rest is history. Now with over a decade of experience the time was right for me to go solo and start my own conversion company and so                GP Campers was formed.
