We're Gemma and Paul, we are the founders of GP Campers. 

We are a family run business in the heart of Somerset with great links to Wells, Yeovil, Bristol and Weston-super-mare. 

As being keen campers ourselves we understand the importance of having a family friendly campervan. We have been frequent campers since children and having driven and camped all over Europe (admittedly not in a camper) we have always loved the idea of being outdoors, camping under the stars and the thought of owning a camper van. 

I (Paul) was in my twenties when I drove my first camper. It was a 1973 two tone bay window painted in Kingfisher Blue with a white top, it belonged to a very close friend. It was lowered had 18inch wheels and was great fun to drive. 

I (Paul) had my first job working with campers in my early thirties with a local camper conversion company and now with nearly 15 years experience the rest is history. 

Now with over a decade of experience we decided the time was right for us to go solo and start our own camper conversion company and so GP Campers was formed.
